Partnerships Matter Without them, United Way could not do all that we do. The United Way Campaign, for example, is all about partnering with local businesses, governments, and other groups to raise needed dollars for community programs. United Way’s annual Day of Caring event is all about many employee groups partnering with service provider and United Way to make a lasting difference in the community. In 2007 United Way is offering a year round Day of Caring program. In addition to our mega Day of Caring in October, other projects can be matched any time during the year. In addition to providing annual contributions to the United Way Campaign, many organizations also partner with us in our Business Cares Sponsorship Program. United Way also partners with Organized Labor to help make sure unions and their members have the opportunities they want to be involved in community life. United Way also invests millions of dollars each year in human service and health programs that the community depends on. Nearly 70 Partner Agencies work with United Way to deliver quality, well run programs which deliver results that help people and help ensure that our community is strong and vibrant.
